Carmen D'Arcangelo
Senior Consultant
Carmen joined HRSI in 2001 and has spent the last 18 years designing
and delivering Human Resource policy and procedure for organizations
in hyper growth and undergoing organizational change. She brings
unique expertise in change management, organizational development,
transition planning, employee relations, compensation and performance
plan development and administration, culture enhancement, retention
initiatives and recruiting process management.
Carmen has worked in the technology, private foundation, Internet
start-up, not-for-profit, manufacturing, healthcare and hospitality
sectors.
Carmens most recent role was Director of People Development
for Eagle River and COM Investments, organizations led by Craig
McCaw. Originally an HRSI consulting client Carmen joined the family
business in 2005 and spearheaded the HR strategy and operations
for a multisite international business in a highly fluid, organic
environment. She grew the organization by 100% developing successful
cultural fit tools for recruiting, performance management and training.
As the Director of Human Resources at GreaterGood.com
she conceptualized and implemented a complete Human Resource module
while increasing headcount at a rate of 2.5/week.
She also worked as Director of Human Resources and Executive Director
for Residence East, the premiere multi-site service organization
in East King County.
She earned a Master's of Business from Simmons Graduate School
of Management and graduated cum laude from Harvard College, in extension.
Currently, she is teaching a course in Sustainable Workplace Relationships
at the Antioch University campus in Seattle.
