Christine Martin Bertany, SPHR  Prior to founding HRSI, Christine was Director of Human Resources for drugstore.com where she led their people strategies and organizational design and development. During her leadership of the HR team, the company grew from 200 to 800 employees, completed their IPO and met many organizational challenges associated with a ".com" in hypergrowth. Prior to that, Christine spent 5 years at AT&T Wireless Services in multiple HR staff and line functions. She ran the national recruiting effort where her team of 40 recruiters hired over 6,000 employees in one year. Her last position at AT&T Wireless was as business partner to the COO, defining the national workforce plan and business strategy for the non-technical units of the company. Since founding HRSI in 2000, Christine has had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of businesses on many challenging and exciting issues. She has expertise in career-track programming, organizational development, employee retention, recruiting, HR metrics and measurements, benefits and HR systems. She holds a BA from University of Michigan, a MBA from DePaul University, and is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). Contact Christine at: |
