Christine Martin, SPHR 
As the founder and Principal Consultant of HRSI, Christine has over 20 years of experience as a strategic Human Resources leader and has held a variety of roles in Human Resources in both Seattle and Chicago. Christine's most recent role was Vice President of People Development for Clearwire Corporation. Originally a HRSI consulting client, Christine joined Clearwire in 2004 when the small Craig McCaw-led start up had only 20 employees. Christine was instrumental in leading the organization over nearly 4 years to over 1800 employees both domestically and internationally in 6 countries around the world. During her tenure, the company launched their wireless broadband service in 40 distinct markets and she was a key member of the senior team that completed one of the largest public offerings in history. Prior to founding HRSI, Christine was the Director of Human Resources for drugstore.com where she led their people strategies and organizational design and development. Christine also spent 5 years at AT&T Wireless Services in multiple HR staff and line functions. Her last position at AT&T Wireless was as business partner to the COO, defining the national workforce plan and business strategy for the non-technical units of the company. Prior to this role, she led national recruiting efforts for this 14,000 employee business unit of AT&T, where her team of 40 recruiters hired over 6,000 employees in one year. Since founding HRSI , Christine has had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of businesses on many challenging and exciting issues. Some of her recent client engagements include Cranium, (a new division of Hasbro), Plymouth Housing Group (a non profit helping support homelessness in Seattle) and Real Networks. She has expertise in organizational strategy and development, strategic HR planning to maximize organizational effectiveness, executive recruiting and staffing program management, HR metrics and measurements, benefits and HR systems. She holds a BA from University of Michigan, a MBA from DePaul University, and is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). Christine is actively involved in both the business and philanthropic communities in Seattle.
