Interim Executive Director Washington Community Alliance for Self-Help (C.A.S.H.) provides the business training, supportive community, and capital to help enterprising individuals with limited financial resources gain self-sufficiency through small business ownership. During a time of significant transition for this entreprenurial
non-profit, our consultant stepped in as the Interim Executive for
a period of 8 months. During this project, the team and the budget
grew by 20%. We provided leadership to the relocation of the organization's
store, 'Ventures', vastly improving the sales prospects and opportunities
for clients. The program also expanded to provide services in three
new languages. We also successfully created business metrics and
processes that helped the board better manage the organization,
establishing best practices that serve the organization today.
